It’s your turn to learn how to make beautiful charcuterie cups that are perfect for any occasion!

Charcuterie cups make for a stunning appetizer! Plus, they’re easy to customize, look professional, and you don’t have to worry about anyone touching your food since these are pre-portioned into individual servings.
If you’ve never made charcuterie cups before, don’t worry! This post will answer all of your questions and serve as your ultimate guide to creating one of the prettiest appetizers!
How to Make Charcuterie Cups
What Are Charcuterie Cups?
Charcuterie cups are individual servings of charcuterie board goodies like cured meats, cheeses, nuts and fruit!
But that doesn’t mean that’s all you can serve in a charcuterie cup. They are highly customizable and can easily be created to meet dietary restrictions or personal preference.
I always recommend adding a personalized skewer that is specific to the guest of honor or the party theme. (For example, my sister-in-law wanted a skewer with pickles for her baby shower since she loves pickles!)

Should You Make Charcuterie Cups or a Charcuterie Board?
This depends on your personal preferences, needs and event but in general, I recommend charcuterie cups when you want to ensure that each guest gets a full serving of treats and you want to cut back on people touching each other’s food.
Charcuterie boards can be great for very large parties since they take less time than assembling individual cups for each person.
You can also have the best of both worlds by creating a “build your own” charcuterie bar where you provide the cups and let guests fill them using tongs to grab treats from a larger display.

How to Assemble Charcuterie Cups

- Step 2: Add two tall cookie sticks (alternatively you can add a stick of celery, beef jerky, etc. as long as it’s long and thin it works)
- Step 3: Create 3 skewers. A meat & cheese skewer, a berry skewer, and a personalized signature skewer (this can be something creative that’s your signature as a host or it can be tailored to your guest of honor for a wedding shower or birthday).
- Step 4: Add in a small bundle of grapes that can hang over the edge of the cup
- Step 5: Add greenery in the form of mint and herbs, I typically add rosemary since it looks as good as it smells!
