Embrace the spooky fall vibes with a Halloween charcuterie board (candy board edition! Yes, there are also non-candy board alternatives that I can’t wait to make and share!)
In this post, I’m sharing everything you need to know about how to create a whimsical Halloween board of your own! And you don’t need to spend a ton of money to do it. (I got everything at the dollar store to cut costs)

Halloween Charcuterie Board Supplies
Candy:
Sticking to a mostly black and orange color palette will instantly make this candy board scream HALLOWEEN!
And don’t be afraid to throw in a few fun color pops like red, green, or purple. A lot of your favorite candy will also have new seasonal packaging that matches the Halloween color palette.
Cups/Dishes:
Small cups and dishes make it easy to create clear sections on your board, even when you’ve chosen candy that tends to roll around. You can find small sauce and appetizer bowls at most grocery and party planning stores. (Or the dollar store!)
Charcuterie Board:
You can use any cutting board since you’ll be covering it, but if you love hosting and plan to keep making boards, I recommend this charcuterie board.
Decor:
You only need a few items to make the Halloween theme clear.
I recommend a few pumpkins, skeleton hands (looks like they’re grabbing the candy!), spider webs (for the table, not the board), festive garland, and a black cloth to cover your board.

How to Assemble Your Halloween Charcuterie Board
- Step 1: Create sections on your board for your different treats. Having a repeating section will actually make the board appear to have more variety.
- Step 2: Decorate your table setting.
- Set the scene for your board by laying out your fake spider webs and decor.
- Once it’s ready, you can add you board to the table with a few finishing touches on top
