Squeaky door hinges seem pretty minor at first but if you’ve got an infant or napping toddler at home, you’re going to want to fix them as quickly, easily, and affordably as possible!

How to Fix Squeaky Doors

Step 1: Pick a lubricant you feel good about. I recommend this one that I personally purchased, Qucship Door Hinge Lubricant, because it’s non-toxic, non-hazardous, and has no odor.

Step 2: Apply the lubricant. The 1oz needle oiler on this lubricant lets you lubricate hard-to-reach areas like door hinges without much effort. A few drops is all you need!

Step 3: Open and close the door to spread the lubricant and ensure the squeaks are gone!

Other Squeaky Door Hacks & Tips:

In a pinch, you can spray hairspray on a door hinge to make it go silent. This is NOT a long term solution but if you’re desperate, this might be a good solution.
Avoid WD-40 for your door hinges! Believe it or not, it’s not meant to provide long-term lubrication. It’s primarily a water displacer and rust preventative.
